Congratulations to 6th-grader Elijah Northup. Elijah recently participated in the VFW Patriot's Pen Essay Contest. He won 1st place at the local level and 1st place in our region. His essay went on to the state level where he placed 3rd overall. Pictured with Elijah are Principal Raynes and Vice-Principal Nunnery, who together presented Elijah with a Wal-Mart gift card for his accomplishment.
