On November 4th, all New Haven Elementary students had the opportunity to walk to the New Haven Fire Station to participate in fire safety education. Members of the NHVFD did an awesome job! The activities were well-planned and presented, and school-based COVID guidelines were followed. As students left the station, they were presented with goodie bags. We are grateful for Stephen Duncan and the rest of the fire department members who volunteered their time today to educate students on the importance of fire safety. Pictured are Mrs. Blackshire's 4th-grade class along with some of the volunteer firefighters, and of course, "Sparky."
